Jim Cramer of CNBC has stated that the current lumber prices would drop signifiantlyif there were a CUT in tarffs. If true then a plan to consider a tariff RISE would tend to propup prices higher than would ordinarily only be subject to normal market forces.Chances of futures reaching a new high are certainly increased and as well maintaining a prlonged elevated level are lightly.

With a 6 month window between now and final approval we could see a buying frenzy. It's absurd, but with so much demand and supply constraints could we see LBS futures trading above $1800? It's very possible.
