Company buying back shares?

For the last two days, there has been large volume purchases right before the close.  Not sure if that is Canfor buying back their own shares under the existing NCIB.  Nothing showed up on SEDI yet.

CFP IR told me that they report at the lattest on a weekly basis any purchase of their NCIB. We will find out next week. I am not a Canfor shareholder but i find it very intreguing that a company would sit on so much cash. At the end of Q3 of last year, Canfor had about the same amount of cash on hand as they have right now. Since Q3, they bought Millar for $420m,they announce a modernization ...more
