Management is so inept

Thanks to management's horrible performance, CFP
is actually trading lower at a lower value than it was back in August
of 2019, before Jimmy Pattison made his takeover offer, and
this doesn't even take into account the duties on deposit.

Pattison was right not to increase his offer, but only because the management he put in
place was inept and ran the company so poorly and underperformed
the rest of the industry.

Sorry, the alignment got messed up after I hit post.  Stockhouse needs to give users the ability to post screenshots or pictures. Long story short, the enterprise value today is closer to $5.01

They should shut down all B.C. operations and move the head office to a Southern state.....

What Canfor should do is:   (1) Shut down all BC operations; (2) Sell all BC assets (mills, forest tenure rights) to the First Nations; (3) Justin Trudeau and David Eby can provide financing (taxpayer monies) to the First Nations to buy the assets; (4) Move the head office from Vancouver to Georgia unless Trudeau makes substantial progress on getting the lumber tariffs back by ...more

Selling the BC assets (CFX pulp and paper ops included) to a First Nation would be a smart move. It would solve all fibre supply issues very quickly. win/win/win/win:   CFP/CFX shareholders win / CFP/CFX employees win / government win / FN win
