No interest in forestry business

Fires everywhere, climate change etc.poor mgmnt, if you live in this industry it is getting tougher by the day...zero help from government although it is a sustainable business.
wood price will keep going up but making money with it will get even more difficult.
paper business has been under severe restructuring over the last ten years. No vision and taking each drop of lemon out of it., bring this current position.

poor marketing to reinvent themselves....why buying the shares when it is at its lowest level since three years?

we need wood for sure but we need healthy forest to capture the carbon.

canada Facing many threats over it global forestry business coast to coast.

wishing them luck because recent consolidation is not looking pretty.  The lemon will be squeezed more and more. Shareholders are left on the fence watching and not recovering their losses.

look at the 3 years trend. An image says it all. And Ahhhhh Trump could keep the lumber duties. Who knows?

The industry needs to rationalize and consolidate. Too much supply. Greenfirst will go bankrupt soon. Then a bunch of the smaller mills. They need to do a major curtailment and layoffs. BC's government has done nothing for the forestry industry.
