Huh, they can't make it work but somebodyelse can?

Supposedly larger companies have lower costs of capital and economic advantages so maybe it's a competency thing?

Not slways the case...not that simple...I can see how smaller, "mom and pop" operators might be able to make a buck....whereas before they did not have access timber....unfortunately that also translates in smaller margins and paycheques....and less spending money in local economies....but it's still something....surviving is better than death (If CFP would be stubborn about hanging ...more
