Takeover by Journalistic License?

Looks like I missed UXG's takeover offer for CGR! I didn't know that UXG has taken control of CGR? Maybe this is what is called "Journalistic License?" Isn't that an obscure part of Canadian Code that allows one company to takeover another, just by having an article written/published about it? Slick of McEwen to find and use such an easy method to win control..... 12-3 (tongue-in-cheek)

UXG originally proposed a takeover of CGR but it later withdrew the proposal. A few months ago it initated takeovers of 3 0f the 4 original targets but for unexplained reasons(some regulatory issue) it did not propose a merger with CGR. So the other 3 transaction were recently completed but CGR remains independent(although McE still owns a large chunck andI wouldn't be surprised if it ...more
