We too do not see any company specific news on CHP.UN lately. High rates are likely a reason for the price action, and there was a small jump when the BOC announced the rate cut but this has now reversed. It is possible that there was an investor sentiment shift from CHP.UN to riskier assets given the rate cut. We think CHP.UN is one of the top names in the commercial REIT space and it has high quality customers backing it while payout ratios are also healthy. Uncertainty around the commercial REIT space may be a factor as well, but we are comfortable with CHP.UN. We like it for income and we do not see anything specific causing the recent decline.
