New CPA deal

So CHR sacrifices a bit of revenue, but gets to be the exclusive regional carrier. I guess that's a reasonable trade-off. Also, for all those who were fearful that the CPA would be revised due to the pandemic, now we finally have it and its not that bad.

What's next, now that this new deal has removed some uncertainty do we get an announcement of a stratgeic investor???

The 19 dash 8 300 they are getting back, wonder if that is enough to start a regional cargo delivery service?

Anyone have any idea on how to model the 19 dehavilland dash8 300 if they were all turned into regional cargo service? I have no clue on what would be good numbers to use so I took Cargojet's 2020 revenues which were 668 million, divided by the maximum load capacity of all active planes in their fleet which is 841 mt, this gave me a revenue number of 795,000 per metric ton. Tak It is alot more complicated than that!  First many of the planes are do for certain updates.  Next you have to strip them all down and retrofit accordingly for cargo.  Size might matter but should not be too much of an issue depending on destinations.  Here is where it gets more complicated.  Putting a value on them as cargo of course depends on capacity and contract ...more
