CHR --- a disaster

Over the last 9 months its been the same sad story --'this is going to fly any day now -- its a great buy etc etc by the pumpers  "   -- but its not -- it has no chnace of  leaving the ground anytime soon -- maybe -1-2 years -- the recent refinancing and dilution were a disaster  and a potential buyer walking  sums it all up nicely -

Incompetent  pretty boy TURDO and friends have  added to the grief by letting the small airlines and communuties go without help while feeding the AC pig

When SENIOR management starts saying:

"the price is low because" the anaysts just don't understand the underlying value and potential OF THE COMPANY"

you know 2 things 1) they are in the miiddle of a distaster  2)  its time that a big chnage in mamangement at the top levels is required

Your rhetoric is so wrong. No one for the past 9 months were positive about air line. As a matter of fact it was the opposite. The current managment was able to deal with the situation through new deals with Air Canada that improved CHR current financial situation. You know  squat. The current price ain't that low. The analyst aren't fools. Their target are establish according to ...more

What a diatribe of BS... if for the past  9 months you have felt this way... why not just sell your stock... if in fact you own any... and move on!

BS????  HAVE A LOOK AT THE STOCK PRICE -- ARE YOU BLIND? --- WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE FOR THIS DISASTEROUS YEAR LONG PLUNGE ? YOU CAN NOT BLAME IT ALL ON COVID -----PUMPERS LIKE YOU NEVER STOP THE BS STORIES

I suspect you might have another motive here but common sense says to buiy now while the dividend is suspended. We are so close to testing previous highs and beyond. When the Feds announce an election for this Fall along with it will come the reopening of the US/Canada border and a relaxation on quarantine rules. The entire airline sector will get a nice lift. Not too late to position for that ...more

Flayinggold -- very typical for a pumper to say someone has 'another motive' if they see   something that doesn't fit your 'reality'  -- What do you think I want to do drive the price down becuz I have shorted the stock??? WRONG !!  A price of around $4.50 is where this pig will sit for a long time. Short or long it is a bad investment. They need a change at ...more

Though I agree with you and dislike the management due to them walking back on their path of diversification when the going got tough and spending most of their resources on the AC CPA, your points are flawed. Chorus needed to raise the capital to repay the loans they took out last year if you recall, they spent those loans on the A220's to airbaltic if you recall, as well as the revisions to ...more

Interesting but pure speculation on your part and so wrong! I have a very significant share position and have held the shares for many years primarily because of the dividend.  I am very pissed about management's performance and particularly the dilution. Your suggestion the take over price was only going to be $4.50- $5 is pure speculation. It may well have been $6-$7. This may or may ...more

I don't disagree that a portion of the shareholders have lost confidence in the management as I am one of them even though I am a recent shareholder (from July 2020), I guess your only recourse is to vote against them at the annual meeting. If you find an activist investor with a good track record to rally under I wouldn't mind joining your planned votes at the next AGM. Let me know if you ...more

Let me ask, when was the last time you flew on a plane? How about friends and colleagues. I bet for the majority not very recently. You need to try harder for an excuse if you believe this is management's fault. What other Canadian airlines are back to pre-covid levels and then maybe I might believe your rant.

No excuses about this cage full of management monkeys -If you really think the market is not aware that travel will increase in the near futue and have not priced this into the stock price you are WRONG -- the market is every bit as clever as you think you are.  The stock price isn't moving because the market has rightfully lost confidence in management. If you think the little bump in ...more

Looking at a 2 year chart, CHR and AC are identical. The big 3 american airlines have fared only marginally better considering that they are also ahead in covid vaccinations, of which more than 50% of all Americans have received 2 doses whereas we have less than 5%. Chart

That chart screams opportunity to me. Take advantage while we are still in the trenches.
Comment by 4CommonSense on May 26, 2021 2:36pm
OMG!!!  if you are depending on a 2 chart as  buy signal ? There 800 charts out thee of companies who also look like great buys --- I think its rather simplistic on your part and its a little bit more complicated that looking at the CHR 2 year chart and saying its a screaming buying opportunity - because its still down. If that's your approach on all stocks you must be facing a lot ...more

Yes, the last year has been screaming buys. I still see opportunity with Chorus today as much as I saw one all through the eye of the storm last year. Now I'm sitting on excellent capital gains and patiently waiting for juicy tax advantaged double digit dividends to resume. What were you doing? March 19, 2020 March 26. 2020 April 6, 2020

Sorry for your frustration, but you are wrong. The airline sector has been completely gutted. Even though you are living through it, one day you will reminisce and read the history on covid and how it decimated the economy, then shake your head and say I should have bought during the storm. Even though Chorus is mostly domestic, they are lumped into the negative sentiment of the sector. When the ...more
