Forget what Macklam had to say, he's a wimp and will only follow in stride with the US. Powell made it clear rates are going up in March. We will follow... as usual. Rates are going up, there's no stopping it. The banks here are run by smart bean counters, they have made sure that the debt pigs will still pay their mortgages even as they go into negative equity. Boo hoo for them ...more
