CIBC is out with a note on CHR, boosting target price to $3.50 from $3.25.

They see 2025 EPS at 33-cents from 25-cents.

They also highlight $250m in liquidity. If they can get an 11% return on that, it would add $26m in annual EBITDA but management better really nail some deals if it's going that route. I'd much rather see $100m dedicated to an SIB, which could take out around 15-18% of shares and would be accretive.

The reinstatement of the dividend would be great for shareholders. The market movements today are perplexing as the sale of the regional aircraft leasing segment is a positive by significantly reducing debt and allowing the company to focus on predictable free cash flows from their long-term contracts. A quaterly dividend of 6¢/quarter equates to 2¢/mth. That is half of what they use to pay pre-covid (4¢/mth) when they did not have Falko on their back. It is certainly not out of the realm of possibility at all.
