Change of residence

Anyone knows if CIA will ask again for change of domicile ? CIA was supposed to change domicile for Canada and they stopped the process, few years ago. There were posts on this board about it a few years ago but I can't retrace them. As dividend should start in the next few months, there is a significant fiscal difference in treatment of dividend, depending if the company is domiciliated or not in Canada. (for regulars investing accounts)...

No they will not change the domicile for Canada, too late, too costly now ......

What do you mean by too costly? Surely not if your a Canadian investor no? Please clarify.
