12:13 PM EDT, 04/25/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Colliers International Group (CIGI.TO) on Monday appointed Chris McLernon as chief executive for the company's global real-estate unit.
McLernon has been with Colliers for 12 years and was last chief executive of its EMEA unit, where annual revenues rose from C$30 million to C$700 million over his tenure.
He will report to Colliers global chief executive Jay Hennick.
"McLernon will focus on overall growth, operational excellence, and client relationships within Colliers' rapidly growing real estate services operations. He will have direct oversight of Colliers' Capital Markets, Leasing and Outsourcing & Advisory businesses globally, with emphasis on accelerating growth, enhancing global collaboration, and strengthening our unique culture and way of doing business," the company said in a release.
Davoud Amel-Azizpour, chief financial officer for the EMEA division, will replace McLernon as chief executive for EMEA.
Colliers shares were last seen up C$1.03 to C$153.57 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
