benefit to SP of energy cos from carbon capture

Eric Nuttall mentioned that he expected Can government will in the near term has a major announcement on carbon capture and paying those cos who inject it....and continued in saying this announcement alone will benefit WCP SP with a $1 increase....   I am not familiar at all on carbon capture or ESG for energy cos.... Pls enlighten me as to whether this sort of announcement will benefit BTE  or CJ SP ?

Forecast go to https://www.wcap.ca/sustainability/co2-sequestration for a good description of carbon capture. Whitecap is in a $500 million deal with the Co-Op refinery and fertilizer plant to capture the Co-Ops CO2 and sequestor it underground at WCP Weyburn operation. I tried to get some numbers from WCP about expected revenues etc but these numbers are not available for public release yet. ...more
