why did they spend 180% more then required on ARO?
is there any benifit to spending morre then required on ARO? or is it just to try to please the woke,,,,cause anybody investing in oil probally dont care !!! should have used the 9 million on the debt!!!

Q3 is normally the most active in drilling so CAPEX increase a lot for many CDN O&G producers, this also include ARO, best time of the year to do that ! Only my O !

to me just seems like they have done more ARO then required by 180% and planning to do more in the 4 q,,,, seems like shareholders didnt like this to much ??

I believe it might be a number of factors: 1) Get govement grants for additional clean up 2) attract investors and comes across well to banks and other firms 3) curent inflation rates may cause the same clean up to be way more expensive in the future, atkeast higher than the interest cost of equivalent debt payments. What do others think
