Didn't expect that until WTI bottomed to its Dec 9th low of $70.31. ...something is Fixed alright, with the absolute pressure on WTI by Political, Financial or Environ Groups, the lack of good sense is appalling.  Drillers gonna hang it up , and lay-off at this rate.

After working in the Oil and gas . the ordinary Citizen has no concept of the Capital intensity together with the Labour involved to bring that litre / gallon of intense BTU energy to your nozzles at the EZ Fill up at the corner. Shut it all down for 10 days, and the doozies still would castigate the Industry for their inconvenience ! ..End of Rant !

  The average Canadian voter also seems to have no clue on how significantly all our oil and gas revenues benefit our health care and education systems.  Socialists (and that includes Trudeau's Liberal party) truly are living in unicorn fantasylands.

I agree with that. It's Trudeau's job to support one of Canada's biggest and (currently) most profitable industries. He's done a completely dismal job at that.
