Just came across his comments on Cj (included baytex,petras).   Murray Edwards might give this guy a lesson , he should.

Do you have a link so the rest of us can be on the same page? Last I read he was positive on CJ with an $8.50 target price. Back to GXE:  Is 25% of CJ's market cap worth a 25% increase in CJ's production?  Thats about how the numbers shake out give or take. GLTY and all

He says he is very bullish on Canadian O&G in fact he has never been more bullish.  The interviewer brings up Cardinal et al saying those are the names he is not bullish on and not sure why given CJ sort of ticks all the boxes on strong balance sheet, strong dividend and low debt but he is not wrong about CJ be susceptible to the swings in share price in regards to swings in WTI pricing ...more

Q1, I think it's the high divi, remember Nuttal saying the anything above 6% was a "risky venture". Look at the swing in the last 24 hours. I bought back in at $7.25...  because of my magic carpet but look where we went $6.99 now about $7.10.  This is a trading platform in my opinion. My MC  can't predict sell only buy so I am hoping to see a recovery soon. If I ...more

Hey P It could very well be the high div although you would think that would be a good incentive to hold. I would chalk todays dip up to the market puking with a slight oil dip.  I don't even want to say drop because the divy is so safe at $88+ oil and I still believe (despite EN's warning) that CJ is in the divi sweet spot where they are maxing out returns to shareholders while ...more
