At this time l will continue to play nice . In answer to your questions, yes l was referring to GXE and responded to a post you made on Sept 30  where you said that under current oil prices and conditions that GXE jumped the gun on the mgmt cutting the dividend, and your final line was , any opinions welcome , even if it is GFY Q , you can take it. Now l have never pretended to be in anyway computer savvy , but even l can figure what GFY connotates. In regards to a trade off if CJ were to purchase GXE , l am well aware that the aquirer usually drops in price , but for how long. .If oil goes to where l think it will as none of the current woes of the world are going away anytime soon , then a retraction in CJ if they bought would rectify itself very quickly and the deal would look like a very astute move at a good time. This of course is just IMHO.

If Cardnal was going to invest, I would rather see them buying a bunch of Clearwater acreage unless they can buy it super cheap.  Does anyone know how much abandoned wee liabilities Gear has?

to much.  Gear has a bunch of junk.  Would not want them to touch it with a 10 foot pole

Like  the last tuck in ...not only clearwater but cheap too. Judging by the cost of the last purchase and what TOU just paid for Bonavista it seems GXE is too expensive at its current share price.  It looks like GXE should continue to work the soil and pay down debt. GLTY and all
