Trudeau

$900 Million gift (i.e. bribe) for housing in Quebec. What about the rest of Canada? I had to vent somewhere. Frustrated.

bc and Alberta should go on their own.  Were just getting bled to death here.  Screw equalization payments.  Its time they got off their fat asses and go to work.

Introduced in 2021. 4 billion available to cities across Canada. London, Calgary,  Halifax, Kitchener, Vaughan. They just need to apply for it. Or you can play politics. Good thing it wasn't a pipeline.

Not if the Federal Gov't (JT) is handling it. They'll probably send the majority to B.C. (Vancouver and Surrey).

Should have added -- about as far away from Ottawa as you can get -- without going to the Yukon.

How much did the Federal spent on TransMountain? Billions...right?
Comment by lnggasfor202324 on Nov 10, 2023 2:05pm
The cost went up substantially on the project because all the protesters kept fighting it and delayed the project so long.  The project finally gets the green light for the project to get done about ten years later in a very high inflationary time.  We should work together in Canada and not fight against one and another.

Agreee with you about your last sentence but it is hard to stay silent and not reply considering the amount of mis-information and bashing going on in Western Canada about the Eastern provinces (mainly against Ontario and obviously Quebec).... Have a good week-end.

Trudeau is just making things worse in Canada. Canada already has a housing problem and health care problem and bringing more people in is just goping to make matters worse.  Trudeau also is giving all Canadian workers 5 sick days a year, wich raises infklation.  I thought every country in the world is trying to get inflation under control not raising inflation.  Trudeau has to go ...more
Comment by Canoftuna on Nov 10, 2023 2:23pm
Did you make that up all by yourself? Impressive. Trudeau created inflation right across planet. More power than I thought. Mulroney had interest rates at 16%. ... so.. when it was below 2% Trudeau was your hero... right?
Comment by lnggasfor202324 on Nov 10, 2023 2:38pm
When you give everyone 5 sick days a year don't you think that raises inflation Einstein?  Restraunts, trucking compoasnies, and many other companies have to charge more to make it up to pay for people sitting at home.  Intrest rates would come down sooner probably if trudeau didnt give everyone these 5 sick days.  If you don't get it you should just put your money in gic ...more

(5) sick days / year is taking good care of your people instead of giving everything to Corporation. We have, in Canada, to find the right balance between capitalism and socialism and I believe we've been good at it for decades now, not perfect but better than south of the border.  BTW - I'm not a fan of the Liberals (and certainly not one of the Conservatives) but like it when human ...more

Don.t let an environmentalist run a country beside a capitalistic leader like U.S.A. I saw a comparison recently that showed ,as a country , we are losing position, and have been since 1980.s Even european  countries are passing us economically. Socialism is wrecking the country. It is nice to give dental care and sick days, we all want everyone to prosper. But remember that self reliance is ...more

The big problem with all these sick days is, too many people are just abusing it calling in sick when they are not.
