He is dead wrong.

Cardinal can pay the dividend

they will use DEBT for the SAGD project

see the post below seeking alpha

Is that your thinking loops?  Isn't using DEBT for SAGD while you're paying a dividend kind of like paying the dividend with debt? Like Birchcliff? I'm so glad you're just a shareholder gracias grinDR GLTA

vet did the same think and they have far much debt than CJ
Comment by loopsbutterfly on Mar 04, 2024 10:28pm
sorry the same thing no think
Comment by loopsbutterfly on Mar 04, 2024 10:32pm
and the most important thing is Does they make enough cash flow to pay the dividend, the capex and the SAGD project if yes there is no problem if wti go down they can spend less money for CAPEX and they said that many times they have a very good balance sheet

Yeah,  this makes sense loops.    and the most important thing is Does they make enough cash flow to pay the dividend, the capex and the SAGD project if yes there is no problem Paying SAGD with debt while paying the dividend makes no sense. VET did the same thing?  You mean payed the dividend with debt until they had to cut it?  Yeah they did! gracias grinDR   ...more

the payout is currently well below 100% and they pay the dividend and the capex ...right??? if wti go down Cardinal said many times they will cut capex first cardinal has a very good balance sheet and they will use debt for the sagd project...they said that many times
Comment by loopsbutterfly on Mar 04, 2024 11:18pm
that's for sure you need to understand what I am telling to you... Does they make enough cash flow to pay the capex and the dividend ? but the sagd(project)will use debt sorry if you didn't understand the first time...you are well aware I dont have good english and if you continue to confront me into the ridicule it is my last comment to you you are not the genius and me the clown all ...more

I think you have it wrong... 1-Cardinal will use debt for SAGD project not also for the dividend 2-Cardinal will use cash flow for the dividend and the capex if wti go down they will cut the capex in order to maintain the dividend for the shareholders as far as they can repay the debt and they can cut the capex if wti go down they will be able to keep the dividend safe.

OMFG! Bye loops gracias grinDR GLTA

wti went down to negative that's why vet and much other oil company did the same thing in year 2020 about the dividend but wti is $78,50 at the moment for sure they can pay the dividend and the capex because a current wti the payout is well below 100% then for sure they will use debt for the sagd project
Comment by loopsbutterfly on Mar 04, 2024 11:11pm
you just simply doesn't want to understand what is their goal and their plan? for sure if  things turn badly they will have to cut the dividend but it is the worst scenario  you think I am a newbie and you always try to turn my comment into the ridicule... you thing you are the genius and me the clown all the time you just want to get the last word.....
Comment by lnggasfor202324 on Mar 05, 2024 12:09am
Yes it is.  Cj's debt level is .3 X debt to cahflow and can pay down the debt easily once the 6000 barrels a day production kicks in.  On another note loops it sounds like you were insinuating you had 1 order of Cj for sale consisting of one order.  How is that possiblke when you said you had 50000 shares of CJ in all accounts?  One order would be only from 1 account.   ...more
