I do agree...a nice buying opportunity I did the same thing this morning with $10 000 (gross proceed from calls was $9270,00) I got another 1 500 shares for peannuts mostly with my calls and I pay less than $500,00 for the shares

According to Mike Rose the crew takeover was done by a bidding process that TOU won. There could definately be a couple of low bidders with itchy trigger fingers. I would have to think SCR and CNQ may have been in the bidding for crew until TOU topped them. SCR has been talked about before as being a natural fit for CJ's assets. GLTA

Can't say as I would be too excited about a takeover by SCR.y 10% dividend would be 1.2%. Even at double the current price it might be hard to swallow. A lot of us are here for the dividend, along with a growth pattern that is now visible to us.

CR was bought for its massive gas assets. CJ does not have Montey assets.

You might need tlo put your running shoes on and start chasing it lol... , especially if the war in the middle east escalates. This is why I don't try to get fancy on short term moves.
