Does anyone

have a clue what's wrong with this stock?  Is this how it typically trades?   Opposite of the herd every day??  Oil has seen a nice recovery since the FED interest rate cut and middle east issues.     But this stock goes sideways while everyone else goes up.

Here are a few things l think are holding CJ down.  Company too small for big investors like Nuttal.  The market seems worried that the dividend is too high and unsustainable and will be lowered..maybe soon or early next year.  Even though Q2 earnings were pretty decent if not above average, Q3 will be a challenge given lower oil prices in Q3.  Will debt increase in Q3 after ...more

Size of the company is the main issue... Why take a risk in little CJ when you can have VRN at 5.3% yield that's been growing over 20% per year for 3 years... or CNQ at 4.5% with payout increases fairly often or WCP at 7% with growth in the payout yearly or sooner... amongst others... We are a retail investor's stock for dividend chasers... which is why someone with your ...more

This POS better not have high downside torque. Because when this war premium fades (always does) WTI will be back to where it started last week.    No matter what some say here, oil stocks closely track WTI.

Wow brah, so much doom and gloom in your world, you've been pessimistic on CJ, WCP, SU. If you don't like the stock, move on and shut up.

Very early retirement for me bro, I do have time on my hands, things like this amuse me.   That aside, I've posted about three times in the past few years, I like to chime in once and a while and call out idiots like you.

Do you just take any analysis' or talking head's opinion at face value every time they talk? I like to see or know about some of thier past commentary to see if they are worth my further time investment in listening to. This applies to randoms on message boards like here, CEO, seeking alpha, ect... Looking back on the history of a poster and how they talk, interact, assess and ...more

I too find it useful. For example when an new investor name asks for advice on a stock then says they recently bought just to start slagging it off for no reason.  It follows the trend of previous posters that were shown to be less than truthful and haven't been seen.  That is unitl this poster shows up and who's history shows they just joined. If you asked about how secure CJ ...more

Good morning !  Apologies for calling you a Karen.  Your correct to call me out.  My timing in taking this small position in CJ was just very very bad.  I'm sitting on a lot of cash and missing a big rally in WTI.   War premium will end eventually  but calling CJ A POS for short term weakness was unwarranted.   I didn't have to go there.   Its ...more
