Market Manipulation

The price of oil crashes when the markets open after as a strike on Iran.

No doubt part of the scheme to punish Iran without bombing their oil facilities.

Wash that down with some of this kool-aid. "Oil prices dropped dramatically at the start of the week after Israel’s limited reaction to Iran’s missile attack convinced markets that a marked escalation in the conflict was unlikely." https://oilprice.com/Energy/Oil-Prices/Oil-Prices-Drop-Dramatically-After-Israels-Limited-Strikes-on-Iran.html GLTA

Right so the past two weeks oil was pressured down and below $70 on the fact that Israel had not striked Iran, up to that point. Nuttall had said there wasn't much of a geopolitical premium to oil at that point and I would agree. There was plenty of news last week indicating Israel would mostly target military bases/munitions etc, sparing oil and the Nuke facilities. And so when they do ...more

The Air defenses are non existant or somewhat passed inadequate now.....Iran is unable to retaliate  ..

Looks like they might try anyway.  With Iran's air defenses reduced retaliation will be easier.   WTI crude oil futures rose toward $71 per barrel on Friday, advancing for the third consecutive session, as market attention shifted back to the Middle East conflict. This change was prompted by a report suggesting that Iran may be preparing to launch an attack on Israel from Iraqi ...more

I watch a lot of Scott Ritter an expert and he claims the damge to irans air defence systems was limited as Iran knew the attack was coming and the air system defence systems were used very little as this would signify where to find them. This makes a lot of sense and everyday it seems there is more talk of an Iran retalitation coming.

I'm not sure who you are replying to here but Scott Ritter is definately one of the people you want to do a good amount of DD on. GLTY and all

Below is additional information, indicating why Iranian air defences were ineffective and taken out, such as outdated defence systems. Israel used 100 fighter jets, I hardly think Iran can defend against that barrage. I'm not sure what you are saying - the air defences were used little and spared?? If so then Israel was successful in bombing all targets, but the article below says all 4 air ...more

This backs up everything in the WSJ article and takes a much different slant on why the North Koreans are in Russia. Gen. Keane: The damage to Iran is beyond what's being reported https://www.foxnews.com/video/6364079195112 GLTA

The fact that General keane was involved in Iraq and Vietnam and was an advisor in Afganistan should tell you this Fox news expert and he should simply go away because his comments are irrelevant. I don't understand why this man and many others are searched out for their opinions. He is clearly a war-hawk with the need to kill.
Comment by Quintessential1 on Nov 03, 2024 10:39am
Keane wasn't searched out but as a "war-hawk" and retired army general his opinion provided a balanced corroborating stance to the Wall Street Journal article that was posted as Fox News and the WSJ do not often share similar viewpoints except for when they are undeniably linked.  As for why others like Fox News seek out his opinion he is a member of the Defense Policy Board ...more

What is reported in the news rarely reflects reality.

Well unless you have your own personal boots on the ground everywhere you're going to have to collect your information from somewhere.  It's like anything else you have to do your own DD. GLTA
