Long term the bank is good, but short term, there is no need to hurry though.  It will more likely drift lower for a better entry

  BNN commentator yesterday "when you try to pick a bottom you get stinky fingers" I thought that was quite funny.  Fact is - it's a temporary issue, and they will be fine.  Safe 10 plus year hold.

I agree it's not really possible to pick the bottom.  If you buy right now after bad earnings and 1B loss on lawsuit, you are also in effect saying this the bottom.  Let all the bad news sink in and consolidate into something other level (doesn't matter if higher or lower) where calm heads prevail, it is better.
