The devil is in the detail. I have a terrible experience with CIBC Investors Edge (direct investing), I would not recommend them to anyone. TD on the other hand are excellent, highly recommended.

I don't know what your experience was but my experience with Investors Edge has always been good. A bit frusterating on accassion but only because Government brings in a rule that they have to abide by.
