Quarterly EPS miss
On an adjusted basis, CIBC says it earned $3.37 per diluted share, up from an adjusted profit of $2.79 per diluted share in the same quarter last year. Analysts on average had expected the bank to report an adjusted profit of $3.53 per share, according to financial markets data firm Refinitiv.

On the other hand, a dividend raise and NCIB. They were active on the last NCIB and will probably be active on this one as well.
