wake up and stop blaming management

sure, the share price sucks! have management made some mistakes, of course.
this management team has done nothing but create equity. they did the deal of the century by buying the new elk mine for a song.
they had the vision over a decade ago(when most posters here hadn't even heard of coking coal, including myself) to see that investing in met coal was the future and they changed their MO from gold exploration to coal.
they got a mine fully permitted during one of the most excessive red tape periods in american business history.
they have managed to revamp the mine, put in place a solid mining plan that will reap huge rewards over the next couple of years and pay for all their equipment up front.
the company is debt free and has millions in the bank at a time when lots of companies are burdened with too much debt.
the reason the sp in down here has very little to do with the few mistakes that management has made and more to do with an erratic market.
lot's of  resource majors such as teck  are way down from their highs. patriot coal and alpha have halved in value this year.
the last 2 are top coal companies, with excellent management teams that have more than halved in value in the last 4 months, just like cline has.
so please stop blaming management because of crazy world economic conditions!

I agree. Some people just like to   blame someone, I guess it makes them feel good . Cline's management has done what they have promised for the most part with some glitches along the way.  Once the fear mongerings in the markets stop CMK along with many other value companies will move much higher.

be careful to say the company has millions in the bank, i may suspect that with low production working capital may be almost gone and a share offering may be around the corner

Great close considering overall markets.Very impressed we held over 2. Good volume....This is beginning to happen....as for crap share price...that's what happens to non producers...and producers, now that I think of it.

As far as I'm concerned the only mistake that Ken made was not cashing up when the stock price went up to $2.75 in early 2008.  He let the price drift down so that Mitsui could get onside for cheap.  Then the second half of 2008 occurred. If he had secured the funds on the SP surge we would have had less dilution and could have probably purchased some of our equipment and ...more

I ehard a rumour that they are selling off something to raise cash instead of diluting the stock. Pure rumour but in this market it makes sense. I notice the volume is increasing on up days and declines on selloffs. Certainly trades alot.

I think they would be smart to blow off their Northern B.C Properties to raise cash for the mine. Cabo is a really great place.
