For all the slapping around being done here to NorthGuy, which I believe is sometimes justified, the management here certainly loves to give the pessimists plenty of fuel. CMK already has nearly $100million on the books, equipment is sitting in the parking lot, I assume paid for, and they are in some form of production. What in the world compels you to make a deal like this? 10% on the coupon is ...more

Shane, I agree 100%. We need real news not recycled info we've known for two months. On an up day in the markets this NR should put us up at least 2 cents at the close. GLTA

DesPerado good post! And I totally agree__the 10% coupon says it all in "bond speak"__and all the cheapie warrants confirms.Confirms what? That this mine is still VERY much in the show me the money stage__and if they don't get off their duffs soon and announce some official long term sales contracts this WILL end up very badly. Most certainly NOT a WTN or GCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But ...more

I dont think GEEE is who I would be encouraging to make a return to this board. That was totally unreadable. Thank God they put that gimp back in his box. Hopefully he stays sleeping.I would just like an explanation why they need to raise more money, and why now? If this has anything to do with longwall mining, then perhaps MHSA or another government agency is not going to allow them to proceed ...more

I agree, we need a real NR that clearly indicates their success or further delay in getting to the 2.75 run-rate by Q1-2012, and that they have signed customer contracts, and or will be hitting their third time revised 200K ton sales, after a year of production. Personally I understand start-up issues etc, I am even willing to give up the 200K tons in 2011 if they have ...more

Cooper, You've said exactly what I've been thinking for the last few months. This stock will go nowhere until the investors see that we are actually making money. I've been in this company since mid 2010 and went through the euphoria of last Dec/Jan/Feb only to watch the price drop to 20% of the high. We're very slowly clawing our way back but  management MUST deliver.I ...more

Here, here, Cooper. I think that sums it up for everyone here. This new money cant possibly be for longwall mining. So my question is the same. Why do this deal at this amount of money with a share giveaway of this magnitude? You have a strong balance sheet and the impression given is that 2012 production should help finance future production increases. Isnt the 100million enough to get to make ...more

The purpose of these boards is to get other opinions to make a better decision for yourself. There is nothing wrong with sharing such ideas and the reason i brought the longwall up is this:Such equipment is costly and not available from stock, it has to be built and i guess the lead time is at least one year. If i wanted to get ahead of that curveball then i want to place an order for it as soon ...more

Eigen337......I don't assume to know more than any other person on this board. My point is before they use any money  from the lossan sale, or the unused CL is for long wall. It is IMO that they have other more pressing production, capital and infrustructure issues to deal with before that.  1 - Final 46 million in capital expenditures (non-long wall equipment) 2 ...more

I agree and went a little overboard on my response on long wall......apologizes all around.....lets hope this all happens over the next few years......lets just hope they can start with a sale!!!! Cheers

I believe there will be a line up for the 3 year 1% interest loans the ECB announced this afternoon.  This may relieve some of the liquidity issues Euro banks have been experiencing.

Good Posts Cooper.Right on, the rail spur at least 20 Million Bucks and much needed ( and not because of the merging lane on the highway ).not easy to bring a mine into production is it ? particularly when landlocked and shipping by rail to coast ( as anyone else ..except maybe Donkin coal )>we are getting there folks...Best of luck and may your ship always have a hand of water under the ...more
