Also, note the resistance at 1.68. I noticed both appeared at about the same time. Somebody playing games?

The Bid/Ask @1.60 and 1.68 are probably the same house. If the 1.60 is real, which I believe it is and you're nervous about the game being played, a good strategy would be to place a stop loss at 1.59.
