Cline Mining Corporation > Pump and dump

Pump and dump

It becomes clearer to me over time that this whole thing was a pump and dump.  Insiders had plenty of opportunity to buy shares over the last 6 months or so.  Its shameful hiding behind the black out period.  Each quarter they have at least 30+ consecutive days for which to buy stock.  Let me ask you this - why didn't the black out period prevent them from selling back when the stock was $3-$4.  How convenient the black out period only prevents them from buying and not selling.  Wake up!!!

Looks like noone got voted out despite all the talk and anger on this board.  Bend over everyone, more is coming.  When the execs can't get it in equity that take it in regular comp.

2 yrs in and we are talking about resetting the mine - give me a fcken break.  We should have sold 3 million tonnes to date based upon the pump and dump plans.

At w.r.t Cleaves, my cat could have figured out it was time to cut costs - hmmm no sales and running out of cash - what to do?  The reality is the financing plan of this company was short 100 plus Million.

Pasta. I couldn't agree with you more about the excuses the management mae for never buying the stock. I always thought it was a huge red flag that no insiders ever bought the stock with their own money. Ironic that the new guy is the first to buy stock. Also, Cline's fatal mistake was not having raised enough money to be able to fully fund their cap ex and working capital needs. The ...more

Mr. Wonerful, Law is ridiculous by it's nature, so you play the game and you shoot high and settle for 10% of the claim.  It's a win win for both parties.  The Gov't lawyers look good because they have reduced the initial claim by 90% and the Company's lawyers are viewed equally competent by settling for 10 times the amount the previous 5 claiments collectively have ...more

The government has already settled with 6 out of the 10 tenured mineral holders in the Flathead watershed area for a COMBINED $4.9 million. Keep dreaming Miner. Cline will run out of money long before they ever see a big pay day from the government.

Mr. Wonderful, We are all aware of the settlements thus far, this is not news.  What is newsworthy is that not one of these claims will now be contested in a court of law, until now.

We need fresh blood on the Board, if for nothing else, at least to restore some crediblity of leadership since Bates and his circus shattered the credibility of this company and hence the value of this stock for good. At least if these new guys stick around, the company may get some of it back. But for a complete break, Bates, McNight  and their old buddies  must go. As far as I am ...more
