To Eigen, you're saying that when production capacity is low, they only use HCC and little or no semi soft or soft coaking coal. Why? Because they don't need to mix it with soft coking coal for "economic reasons" for the simple reason that HCC is better quality and there is no need to blend since HCC is abundant and cheap, as opposed to the soft coal which is abundant , lower quality and much cheaper. Simple economics. When the market gets tight soft met will take its place in the pantheon of coals, but not right now. No one trashed our treasure at CMK, but being a lower quality met coal does not comand a high price in the market today. This distinction that not all met coals were created equal was never made by the CMK bosses for obvious reasons, though some references are made in the technical report.

who the F............ cares. too much inventories that no one is buying. Plant/mine suspension laying off people that can't be good. Outlook looks really bad. sooner or later .... Chapter 11. .28 cents close or open tomorrow. nothing to look forward especially short term. so much uncertainty. jmho.
