Ken Bates Integrity Questioned

I was at the annual meeting in May. I met Ken Bates, and from our conversation I believed he was passionate, sincere, and was putting a lot of confidence in the new boys they hired from Xstrata. I left the meeting knowing that this company had put the cart before the horse. They opened up the mine, and ramped up production when the mining cycle was on its way down, and most importantly they did not, and still do not have Sales Contracts. Thank God they went on Shut Down, and  have some finances to lay Dormant for a while, the question is how long?

I do not believe Ken is a liar, just not as shrewd as many of his peers,if so our stock price would be considerably higher. Share Holders should have had better support than shown from the Cline Management team.

nrschevy, I met Ken Bates last year at the PDAC, and got a simular impression. The cycle will turn, and when investing in a Jr you must expect a bumpy ride.   He bought the asset at a great price, and lets hope the new management team can deliver.   Cheers
