Not making money!

I had some free time this morning and just looked at CMK board. You have to do what you have to, so my position should not either influence your decisions, or get you mad.

I have a question for those who are still holding on to CMK because they have lost too much. The question is how long it would make to move down to 2 cents, or move up to 10?

If I were anyone of who who are down big, I will grab 5.5 cents and run. There are hundreds of stocks in that range that are breathing, that have plans and better prospect.  Would bond or anyone else shares with me his or her strategy on CMK?

I do not see the logic of waste so much time talking and theorizing about CMK?

The logic is simple.  The current holders of Cline are taking a huge risk by hoping that someone will come to the table either to buy out the company or with cash infusion in exchange for part of the company, rather than letting it go to the bondholders!  So at least some of the invested capital is saved!   If Cline did not have over 600 million tons of reserves backing it ...more

Good thinking aatwal. So the odd is 50/50! That is pretty good and I will take it. Let us say your wish come true, how much would any saviour offer per share? You are going on the assumption CMK has food and that sooner or later a company would want to eat. Do you thing CMK is the only good stall on the markey? You guys must have a tough stomach and no sweating!

Kingyahoo, for a trader your logic is perfectly sound. CMK is such a gamble right now that it is not worth holding when you could pull out, even at a loss, and make it back in another stock. Not everyone here is a trader though. Some make investments and do not have the time, skill or resources to monitor it daily. Then one day it loses 66% and they wait. Then it loses again, and again and here we ...more

I think it was Kingyahoo that brought CEE ( a temporarily distressed situation ) to the attention of CMK board, as an opportunity to 'buy low' and make money.   Similar to some other stocks. I can't remember where I saw it, I think it was Kingyahoo.  If it was you King, ..... THANK YOU. After doing my DD, I did buy in and am enjoying a nice climb, with CEE ...more

CMK is a massive gamble right now. One more piece of bad news and we're looking at a .02 cent stock that could easily trade in that range for a long time or just go out of business like a lot of insolvent juniors did on the venture exchange last year.

"In money management long term success lies not in garnering short term returns but avoiding the pitfalls that lead to large losses of invested capital.  While it is not popular in the media to point out the headwinds that face investors in the months ahead - it is also naive to only focus on the positives.  While it is true that markets rise more often than not, unfortunately, it ...more

Thanks to you guys/dolls for the posts after my comments. I see you are on the ball. Why do you think I bother to keep an eye on CMK? But, in the meantime I go fishing. One example. I have not held CUU for almost a year, but kept an eye. Today, it was almost at its 52-week low. I bought at .62 cents, added at .64, and .66. At this moment, its trading at .68 cents. I have posted before saying there ...more

As a general truth, and historic reviews show this, the period from Jan - April is usually the best for stocks, and for mining stocks.    'Sell in May and Go Away'....    then bottom fishing in October (Black Friday fears) and November and December (tax loss selling).   There are always exceptions, but this is a general truth. But to be disciplined ...more
