News Release, out last night. And it's positive. People will want to be in at this share price.
Comment by shane117 on Jan 23, 2013 9:49am
I would rather Cline do a JV with a large entity that has alot of cash int he bank rather then a full buyout. This way, the share price wouldn't be limited to a complete buyout price. With a JV, I think the sp would climb just as high as a full take out and we would still have shares for the future to make back our money plus more.

i do not think yesterday's news is driving the stock today  5.5M so far 8.5c
Comment by shane117 on Jan 23, 2013 9:54am
of course it is Larry. What else would be driving it. It has been dead for a while.

this one :  Cline Mining retains financial advisor to assist in exploring strategic alternatives strange

larry, what you posted IS yesterday's news. There is nothing else.
Comment by larryl2 on Jan 23, 2013 10:18am
yes, but they been their advisers before , newer mind, maibe I missed somthing
Comment by shane117 on Jan 23, 2013 10:22am
larry, now they are their advisors for the purpose of doing JV/buyout. It's a positive step in the right direction.

Basically, CMK will get sold.   If you read the article near the bottom it says CMK doesnt need shareholder approval on transactions based on financial hardships, something to that effect. What the worth is to the potential buyers is beyond me at the moment.
Comment by larryl2 on Jan 23, 2013 10:35am
Ok, means they are bad advisers, because they should advise to it 6 month ago, at least.  Nevertheless, I hope it moves to right direction but time is ticking

well just wanted to say congrats to you guys that reloaded on shares in the 5.5 cent range, and are now getting some nice gains today. I unfortunatly missed out on this run, as based on the previous news, i did not see this sort of spike happening again. I would caution those looking to buy in at the current 8.5-9 cent level. Yes if might still go up some more, but keep in mind the company is ...more

Even with dilution  4 billion shares at .02 per....you are looking at 80 million dollar market cap.  Right now compared to the worst case CMK should be around 0.35 currently without any other offers.  But with another alternative on the table CMK could fetch a higher price IMO.   Still nobody has answered me in terms people on this board saying their is alot of debt out there ...more
Comment by shane117 on Jan 23, 2013 10:45am
watcher, it says that at the bottom because Cline recently applied to the TSX to not have to get shareholder approval for the current financial situation.
Comment by shane117 on Jan 23, 2013 10:47am
aatwal, Cline's debt is just over 100 million.
Comment by aatwal on Jan 23, 2013 11:01am
How do you figure that?
Comment by shane117 on Jan 23, 2013 11:03am
They borrowed 50 million from another institution prior to Marrett's 50 million dollar loan.

Which other institution?  Could not find any other Loans, except for the $50 million dollar bond offering and equity financing/selling of some coal assets in Canada.  Only real debt that matters is the Marret debt.   3rd Quarter Ended August 31, 2012 2nd Quarter Ended May 31, 2012 3nd Quarter Ended August 31, 2011 C$ C$ C$ Cash and cash equivalents 7,605,837 29,000,416 57,353,320 ...more

Book Value of $1.15 a share. At $.50, a bargain for whoever buys it.
