I think Summer22 is too busy selling his shares over the past few days, hence the share price back down to 10.5!  I do not think him/her alone is driving the price down, but I think some of us today may have freaked some shareholders with all the examples of Tobin, and why he was appointed to the board, that CMK is finished come feb. 28th, etc., etc...............but I doubt it.......the

aatwal, think of it......What investor is going to pay out Marett so they can put themselves in Marett's position?  Marett does not want to be in this posiiton. Do you think another investment firm wants to be? Would you buyout Marett to go into their spot? I certainly wouldn't. Remember, Cline defaulted on their first loan payment, are unable to sell their coal, are in care and

Marret would not mind taking over Cline....see their website as they have a separate investment company that invests in resource companies. So if the 2 cent deal does happen or not massive dilution will take place  regardless.  We are not going to get more than 10 cents as indicated by the markets over the last few weeks or so!  The bar has been set so low or basically has been

Marett invests in resource companies by purchasing bonds, not by buying companies. Marett forced the "Marett" deal on Cline NOT because they want to own the company but to get back their money asap. Thats why they forced Cline to try and sell. If Marett takes over they will continue searching for a buyer and/or liquidate all assets so they can get their money back. They will not run a

It's just like the banks. They lend money to real estate investors at an interest rate and they take the house as collateral. If you can't make the payments then they takefull  ownership of the house and make it a short sale. The banks don't want to own the house. The just want their principal plus interest back.

Key to understanding the intentions of Marret is the appointment not so much of Tobin on the Board but Haywood. Tobin is a "generalist" not a specialist in any particualar field like Haywood. Notice the background of Haywood; he is an Specialist in mining engineering, and also a lawyer, a very rare combination in the industry. And as such, he can function at  many levels

Thanks for all the input over the last few days.  There have been some great conversations!!  Have not sold any of the current Cline holdings incase people were wondering.  This company does have some tough hurdles to overcome with only days remaining, to find a potential buyer/partner.  It seems hard to imagine that no one would be interested in Cline in its current situation.
