New Elk Coal Mine scheduled to start mining.......

New Elk Coal Mine is scheduled to start mining on Monday May 5th. The mine will mine 1,000 tons with the current employees. The coal will be trucked to Jansen and from there it will be shipped via train to a location in colorado where the coal will go under a burn test. Lets cross our fingers and hope something great comes out of this.

Keep up the good work CIO and one day you'll be promoted to Chief Marshal of Intelligence Operations for the State of Colorado and don't let yourself be distracted by the Cassandras of this board. But wonder what happened to the original tests that were done when the mine opened back in 2011. Were those tests from different sections of the mine? The Blue mine and not the Allen or Apachi?

Once again Coalmnr. Thanks for you info. Its a little unreal to think someone offered the old man $7.00 for a buyout and we now sit at less than a penny.

On a personal level, I don't think Johnson or Head are the bad guys here. The problem was in upper management of Bates and some company. T.K. Mining drove cline broke by overspending on supplies and material that was never used and served no purpose that sat at the yard for many many months before anyone would even ask what it was for. And I'm sure it still sits there. And I mean by the ...more

CIO your assessment of the situation at Cline is correct. It agrees with ours. Bates and his criminal gang, would not get an independent advice how to run a mine. He relied mainly on family and friends, and the Senators; don't forget the Senators the Canadian parasites with no hands-on experience how to run a mine who found refuge in the CMK Board. Bates, till the last minute believed that ...more

Well I guess this is all just opinions that you all think. I can't argue about Bates and his criminals. I know for sure that Johnson and Head are the worst criminals. Just cause things might turn around it's not their doing. Really those two are the thieves!!! Drive by Johnson's house and tell me what you see. Yes mine equipment. Did he buy those items?  I highly doubt it. Ask the ...more
