BNN Boomberg mentioned this morning that CNQ is expected to announce a takeover during this Q2 announcement.

Anyone have any idea which Company?

International petroleum company (IPCO) has 1.4 billion barrels of heavy oil with their Blackrock project  The oil is still classified as contingent , but only because  IPCO doesn't have enough cash flow to develop it quickly. I think that was misred/extrapolated out of nothing. No reference to any concrete data, and was the anchor not an analyst or someone in the know.

SDE has been testing the market for a while... but who knows if and when deals are real, until they are real. Fun to guess and speculate nonetheless. IMO and GLTA
