Further Details Regarding Share Split T.CNQ

Calgary, Alberta--(Newsfile Corp. - May 3, 2024) - Canadian Natural Resources Limited (TSX: CNQ) (NYSE: CNQ) ("Canadian Natural") announced today that it has set June 3, 2024 as the record date (the "Record Date") for the previously announced two for one split of its common shares (the "Share Split"). The Share Split was approved by shareholders of Canadian Natural at its annual and special meeting of shareholders held on May 2, 2024. On June 10, 2024 (the "Payment Date"), shareholders of record as of the close of business on the Record Date will receive one additional share for every one common share held.
