The game in the pharmaceutical industry has been going on for years. Freeze competition from entering your space through courts that drag out litigation for months sometimes years. The outcomes are never in question and the penalties are generally much less than the profits reaped during the litigation. Not sure what Cipher wants for the full transfer of rights back to Bausch but it must be large ...more

Please elaborate. Note 18 from last annual report noted huge non capital tax losses from cardiome acquisition . I assume that's what you are referring to? But I noted that cph pays current taxes, so are the tax losses useful to cph or not? There is also the typical bicker with CRA about the tax losses from that transaction. I'm no tax expert by any means but if cph can't use them and ...more
