How do ya like them pickins?

A 30 banger for those who would have dared

BUY
Enterprise value is very cheap. But the issue is they have debt. They did an infrastructure deal to reduce that debt. A big part of that debt is a 2024 maturity at a low interest rate, so Crew will survive. Their liquids are in a condensate-rich area. The stock has been hammered because of high debt. He's bought more of this in the past week.

Thanks for sharing Oldnagger.  I clicked in the link and it took me to stockchase.  I do not know this site.  However, it is interesting to read people comments/recomendations at the time. Schachter was pretty much the only one who liked the name. Lauzon, Nuttall, Mann, Campbell all said to stay away.

Joseph Shacter loved the juniors, trouble is that one of his recommendations went belly up and then that was it for him. No longer a media darling on BNN.  What no one wanted to admit , is that by taking a shot gun approach, he profitted more over all than his losses. So , my post is in a way a tribute to him. A true independant thinker, who did not let the herd get to him!! Stockchase is ...more

Not being overly critical of old Joe S... my basic premise is that the market eventually (short or long term) has a tendency to humble us all... but if i recall he had a few markers to the downside... OilExco and BXE... in both cases he miss read the debt problem and the fall from grace. Not saying it was his fault... just that he got caught (sacked) on his blind side on those two and threrefore i ...more

He's also been so wrong so often it's laughable I started following his nauseating Twitter feed last summer. Guy is so bad he can't even make it on Bnn anymore

Well, I was just trying to make the point that when you make 30 times your money on 1 company, then even if you lose everything on 29 others, you will still come out ahead LOL !! I know many hate risk, but the lesson is that you can also be well rewarded for taking the risk. That is why I still love Crew. The Reward to risk ratio is still very high !! As to BNN , the analyses for each stock is ...more

I agree 100% disfersify, difersify. I added PRQ quite a while back. .99 area The same owners that started PEY. They are smart operators with good producing properties. Now we have a "rights offering" that will also reward me. So much better than shares with warrants which dilute more. They will be drillig more soon which will be brought on to existing infatructure. Now may not be ...more

of course . at that time they were tettering on bankruptcy. they are safe now thanks to commodity prices going up.  anyone that owned cr then, should have known how bad that situation was, they were weeks from going under.  commodity price saved them. so sure it was a huge win, if you had the stones in the head to own it when it was goinf under... who knew oil and gas would recover this ...more

Thanks for posting.  I am struggling to understad the key mesage in your post.  If I could summarize in one line, I get "You guys were idiots to buy this name 2 years ago and it is time to get out".  I know you did not say that, but this is what I get from reading your post. Also, you posted on this board on Friday of last week, "New owner and so far so strong". ...more
