My average cost is ~1.10. Holding until we see some real copper supply deficits later in the decade. With Santo Domingo online and higher copper prices, Capstone will have a juciy SP. Just gotta be patient

They said they would announce a partnership for Santo this quarter. We are 3 weeks away from the end of the quarter so hopefully something soon. Should have another good quarter.

I wonder if they are waiting for the Chile Copper Royalty saga to come to a conclusion first. The partner might want to know if Capstone's DL600 tax agreement will still be honored by the Chile Governemnt.  My guess anyway, hoping we hear about it soon

What impact does the marked decline since May in iron ore prices have on SD? The iron ore portion of the mine is worth half what it was four months ago.

Santo Domingo will not be in production until 2024 at the earliest and therefore it's about what prices will do in 3 years from now.  I don't think anyone priced in $200/t iron ore to last, now it's met coal's turn (near $400/t right now).  Is the market really expecting $400/t met coal to last long?  I don't think so or Teck would be $70 per share.
