According to oats Gilles appears to have said that AEZS had cash and "some strategic people in Germany that were very proficient and would hire them if he could." Ronnie Miller has said that the company is now positioned to bring transformative products to market.
The company needed a research and development engine to explore, prioritize, and develop its potentially vast potential. It will be interesting to see what emerges over the next two years and beyond.
