Topicus shrs

I sold the topicus shrs that were given to me.  Does anyone know how these are declared for tax purposes?  Is the full amt considered dividend?

I think you are right in that they were given as a special dividend, but that "dividend" came in the form of a security, and so what was the ACB or cost base of those shares?  I think CSU dropped in value on issue because certain assets from within CSU were transferred to the new TOI.  Contact CSU IR Dept. for that info.

Thanks for responding.  I finally found a T5 for it, for some reason Scotia didn't send one. I think we figured it out.  At least I hope we did it right haha.
