Distributor sell out

If you look at the last quarterly report from Corby - extremely high and unforeseen earnings -
and buried in the report international sales (i.,e. sales to the US) were up 23% in volume and 23 percent in earnings.

Statement there: "healthy distributor sell out of JP Wisers in the US Markets resulted in 1st quarter shipment volume growth of 23% and shipment value growth of 23% comparied to same period last year..."

What is a distributor sell out? It means that the market was undersupplied with product. The shelves were stripped. All gone.

What is the solultion then?  Make more of the stuff and maybe raise the price until the market comes in balance.

Again -- who can do this best? Who can sell best internationally? And what busienss is Pernod in? Hello?

Yes Captain CSW had an unusually strong FY21Q1 earnings. Covid has led to unpredictable and volatile results. Management states this in their press release.CSW is a good company, but it is flawed to think the current results are the new normal for the business. I advise not to use the recent figures as a baseline for future performance.  Expect a return to normal trends when ...more
