No kidding. Even a 4 year old could tell u there's a serious problem here. Sort of reminds me of XBC.
Comment by Benoityaz on May 13, 2022 1:39pm
Can you elaborate on what exactly about CTS reminds you of XBC?
Comment by motivator2 on May 13, 2022 2:06pm
The precipitous fall.
Comment by retiredcf on May 13, 2022 3:47pm
Garbage in and garbage out. It never fails that when the market is weak, all kinds of "experts" show up who clog up the BBs with inane predictions. Have a nice weekend. GLTA
Comment by motivator2 on May 13, 2022 5:02pm
And then on the flip side there's those "leaders"  on this board who love to justify their mistakes by extolling the virtues of their failed investments to others in hopes of keeping the share price afloat.  I made the mistake of following some of these dudes instead of looking at the bid and the ask. What else is there. I'll say it again. Sell CTS now and take your ...more

CTS has a better chance of doubling from here in the next two years versus gib.a. CTS also has a higher chance of getting cut in half in the next year vs gib.a. It depends on what you want but yes if you want to preserve and do a bit better than cash buy gib or a bank or telecom provider. If you want a shot at more and can accept risk, then gib.a will disappoint you. You cannot compare these two ...more

NASDAQ down over 150 and CTS up nearly 10%. And yet no comment. What a surprise.  But give credit to GIB.A as it was also up (0.29%) Bottom line - unless there is a significant change to the fundamentals (either positive or negative), ignore the trading patterns (especially in a fearful market like this one). Yes it was a stand out day for Cts. So much so that I had to re-enter my position and swallow some crow. The finish was solid. Ok. So I'm back in. I can admit my mistake. Still hold gib as well.
Comment by ITSUP2ME on May 16, 2022 9:11am
I take you are heavy weighted in XBC too?
Comment by motivator2 on May 12, 2022 1:00pm
Agree. Don't stick with a loser. Surprised retiredcf hasn't sold.  Look at Gib.a instead.
Comment by retiredcf on May 12, 2022 2:11pm
In this tech wreck of a market, everything is a loser. Selling at this stage locks in your loss at the worst possible level (panicked lemmings jumping off the cliff). Same thing happened in the 2008 crash. CTS is doing fine and I plan on sticking around until sanity returns. As frequently mentioned, you need a thick skin and a good sense of humour (plus never play with margin accounts). GLTA

Isn't it more logical to cut your losses quick. I feel fortunate selling cts over 9. And I lost a bit of cash. I don't need any more analysis than that egregious looking chart.
Comment by Benoityaz on May 12, 2022 3:04pm
Unless you can show that the reason you sold at $9 was because you predicted the current general market turmoil (which is the largest driver of the stocks recent performance, with a smaller portion reflecting some company specific reasons), you are not a hero. You just got lucky and perhaps just made a market call (doesn't seem to be much in the way of some amazing stock picking going on here) ...more
Comment by motivator2 on May 12, 2022 6:06pm
Yes. That's exactly what happened. I'm no hero. That's for certain.

Well said retiredcf... looks like this summer is 'lockdown' your holdings and wait for the 'dampanic' to subside. .. .
