Marijuana Reasearch Act

Does anyone know if Biden signed the darn thing yet? One day left. Even if he doesn't sign, it becomes law but does send another message that Biden does not like Cannabis.

So 10 open for business days, maybe (hopefully) they want to put both MJ bills on his desk at the same time! This would allow closure on the issue for the remaining 2 year term with a statement the are fullfilling their promise, then a big announcement to legalize asap if reelected. It is going to take about 2 years anyways for full legalization according to most analyst comments I have seen ...more

...waiting for sign off. Not sure how long enrollment takes before the Bill is sent to the President. Biden defibately needs to sign this week. Today is 10 days after the Bill was sent to him.

POTUS has 10 days (excluding Sundays) to sign the Bill that was sent to him on Nov. 17/18. I believe he has until tomorrow because of Thanksgiving. Doesn't really matter, it still becomes law, unless he vetos it and sends it back.

Yep, more of a political statement than anything else if he doesn't. A White House representitive did confirm to the medi that he would sign. I think the delay is they are trying to get the SAFE act on his desk at the same time to sign together, nothing to back that up just my suspision.

For crying out loud, did Biden sign the Marijuana Research Act yet? Did anyobe hear anything? This must be the last day (or it depends when the Bill was "enrolled". Not sure how long that process is. Enrollment is right after the Bill approval. Can't be more than a day or 2.

Okey dokey, we have an answer. This Bill was presented to the President on 29 Nov. Therefore, he could sing it next week (has 10 days no including Sunday). That solves the mystery for me.
