Curaleaf Denied License Renewal By New Jersey

I’m sure there is an appeal available. New Jersey will close down and destroy 500 job's in its own state because 5 people were not re highered due to economic restructuring. This will do more harm then good for the state. It’s illogical and too heavy handed. The ruling in Jersey is a over reaction and poorly thought through, So 5 people were let go and the rest were given other jobs as Curaleaf reorganized their facilities due to economic restructuring. New Jersey’s ruling is an overreaction and legal action may cost the State hundreds of millions, the floor vote was 2 in favour of revoking our licence 1 was in favour of keeping it while two others did not vote. Let’s hope an appeal is in place while a new hearing is heard. To much at stake for both parties

I'm sure the NJ Govenor is not pleased either. He is a fair and reasonable person and knows this doesn't pass the smell test.

I’m sure they will find a better compromise. You can not just kill off a multi million dollar business for your state for a misunderstanding. All hands on deck for Curaleaf or bye bye New Jersy, another update on how they rectify this massive issue is needed ASAP.

If New Jersey’s regulators had an issue when Curaleaf did a press release back in March regarding their restructuring, they should of said so then. It’s been almost a month and now they pull the rug from under Curaleaf when they could of said something in March. This does not pass the smell test and NJ could be paying Curaleaf millions in damages if they do not fix this fast.
