How pro cannabis AG MG will get brought in

Matt Gaetz will be the next AG and here's how it's going to play out IMO:
1. Gaetz will never get the votes in the Senate, and even many Republicans are opposed.
2. Recess appointments require a 10-day recess.
3. Pro-forma sessions can be called to break the 10-day rule and block recess appointments, but they require Senate Leader approval.
4. Trump will have to wait until the new Republican Senate takes sitting on January 2 so Schumer doesn't block a recess.
5. John Thune has already committed to recess appointments, but he doesn't have the votes to schedule a recess right now.
6. In January, if both chambers controlled by Republicans vote for a 10-day recess, appointments can begin.
7. Individual senators can push for a pro forma session, which is how a recess appointment is usually blocked. However, the Senate leader controls the scheduling of pro forma sessions, so he has the final word.
