Kentucky is getting ready for the Jan 1 launch

 A dozen cannabis businesses have received one of the final licenses to sell medical marijuana in Kentucky.

During a random lottery on Monday, the Office of Medical Cannabis (OMC) distributed the remaining 12 medical cannabis dispensary licenses for the final licensing regions, Bluegrass and Kentuckiana, which include the state's two largest cities.
