He must have failed Common Sense 101. There is no way overruns weren't evident months ago - they should have been revealed to shareholders at that point not when they advanced to the ridiculous 40%.

It is relative simple, Magt knew that they have signifancant cost overruns, the porblem was how do you tell your shareholders and lenders that you have messed up and know that the market will react.  Some one messed up the question is - what is the impacted and how can it be fixedwith  this they have not come clean. I sincerly hope that no bonuses will be paid to the CEO and CFO and ...more

For what it's worth I have been down the tunnel before. Years ago, as a young investor, I had a propensity to justify management mistakes. Consequently I would hang in rationalising the situation and justifying my investment. Now I am old and gray and much wiser. I off loaded this pig this morning. Essentially broke even and that's that. I really don't want to hear the story since it ...more

I share your collective exasperation with this hideous mess...I m already under water and hanging on for the following reasons: 1.  Alkali prices are firming so slightly more money from their prime business. 2.  Oil has already started to ship albeit in small amounts compared to the overall project.  3.  I "assume" the oil transport income will show up in time to pay ...more
